Working bee – Term 1, 2019

Sunday 31 March

Join us from 8am as we use our Woolworths Junior Landcare grant to create a native habitat in the environmental learning area. Also known as ‘permaculture’ for those who remember the sheep, this area is special to many of us and still houses the MRSS chickens.

Bring along your gardening tools, gloves and wheelbarrow. Under the guidance of our local Landcare group, we’ll be weeding, trimming trees, planting natives, mulching, creating pathways and establishing habitats for birds and insects. Then we’ll finish off with a sausage sizzle.

Our kids can’t volunteer for the working bee as they’re not insured. Unfortunately this means if you bring your kids along it will be at your own risk.  Look forward to seeing you there!
