With the Term 4 Music Concert now completed, THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the concert such a success! Music@MRSS is growing from strength to strength. Not only does it help our children learn better, it brings music into their hearts for happier, creative lives. And the whole community benefits from that.

To each person who volunteered; whether you BBQ’ed, sold a ticket, baked biscuits, cleaned up or stacked a chair – know that you helped make this happen. Special thanks to our outstanding music teachers, the stagehands and more kind, volunteer teachers who made the performances run seamlessly on stage. To our music captains for their impeccable MC roles. To our communications and P&C friends who helped with all the behind the scenes but vital stuff like insurance, purchase approvals, printing, web page loading, recruiting, food orders, first aid kits and locating money boxes. And thanks also to our school leadership team who answer our bazillion questions and demonstrate how they value music by getting in hands-on and working every step alongside with the Music Support Group.

Here’s to more magical Music@MRSS in 2019!!

The Raffle Winners and Supporters

The Music Support Group (P&C) would like to thank all raffle ticket buyers for their support of the Marshall Road State School Music Raffle. With your support we’ve raised over $1,600 from the raffle which in Term 4 will go toward the purchase of new instruments for band including a trombone, two trumpets, two flutes and a clarinet.

We’d also like to acknowledge our generous, community-minded sponsors and encourage the MRSS community to support them in turn by considering their businesses.
