What a great fathers day stall!! All the kids had a great time – taking so much care to choose something special for their dads, and some grandads, pops and nans too!
It’s a busy day starting at 9am and going all the way up to second break. Students were so well behaved and respectful of the purchasing process. Each class has about 10 minutes at the stall under the admin building, and most students purchase at least 2 items from the stall.
For the volunteers the day actually starts the night before, wrapping and pricing gifts in the tuckshop, and making sure there’s enough gifts for each class.
Thank you Jen, Claire, Hazel, Lisa, Kara and Amy for giving up their evening to help wrap and sort. Thank you to Kara, Amy, Alicia, Hazel, Amanda, Lisa, Carrie for your help on the day!

We would really love it if next year we could have some dads on the stall – there’s usually 1 kid per class who will ask why there are no dads on the fathers day stall, when there’s always mums on the mothers day stall. It’s a valid question and it would be good to see some gender balance!
Need some ideas for donating? Mugs, individually wrapped chocolates (to be added to jars or mugs), socks, travel coffee mugs, keyrings, notebooks, toiletries, magnets, photoframes, pens, stress balls, and so on! Also, empty JARS!
Please place donations in the box (from mid July) outside the staffroom, thank you!
